One of these crazily busy week... Lu came in town. Chris, Lu and I feasted at a Vietnamese restaurant then at a Korean restaurant. The pics are from Korean restaurant (Alexa's advice!). It was soooo good and we ate to death. Lu and Chris definitely gained weight.
Then to DC United Party and Game. Carla, Philip and I enjoy the tailgate party and the game. The game sucked, but we still enjoyed!

Pictures from Rosana and Andrei's wedding reception. Usual suspects from IMS were there to celebrate. I don't think I was drunk, but some people claim I was. Well, it was a celebration time. Why not?!?!?! It was nice to meet Stavros' family and Kha's family. Hope we get to party together again.

I did it! After 4.5 months of training including no late night activities, I finished running 10 miles on October 7, 2007! I had no confidence in finishing the race. The longest miles I trained was 8 miles and it was not easy. I suffered from muscle cramp and joint pain after the run and there was no way I could pull out another 2 miles. However..... I DID IT!!!!!
The race was AMAZING! 26,000 people registered and about 18,000 completed the race. My time was 1:41:29. Not too bad for the first time. From our IMS team, George, Amy, MJ, Rick and Aaron ran. My friends, Eliko and Erge, also ran. I did not feel any pain during the run. The last 2 miles was still very tough. It was on the 14th street bridge with burning hot weather (upper 80s) on the black asphalt with no shades. I had to walk a bit there.
I am so grateful and feel honored that I was a part of this memorable run. As you see in the pictures, there was a team of soldiers running with artificial legs. My friend, Kati, saw a blind man guided by rope from both of his sides. Teenagers to retired, healthy to wounded, - everybody ran his/her best. The energy, spirit and inspiration were more than I had expected.
All the pictures here were taken by Kati. Thank you, Kati! And I think I will run again next year. I think I will...
I would like to thank Nikki, Dawn (from IMS), Kati and Elis for coming to support us. I would like also to thank George for introducing me to this wonderful experience. Thank you!

We, Hyzy contractors, won tickets to DC United vs Guadalajara game on September 26. We also had an access to the Diamond Club where we can feed ourselves with food and drinks (not alcohol) as much as we want. About 13 of us were there and enjoyed the food, drinks and game. I was disappointed at Guadalajara's play! DC United won by 2-1. What happened, amigos???? Anyhow, here are the pics. Enjoy!

Following Estonians, I went to see MotorCross of Nations in southern Maryland on Sunday, September 23. It was soooo far away and I got lost to get there! When I finally found the track, I heard the loud buzzing noise and people cheering. It took for a while to find 70 Estonians around the track. There were so many people completing filling around the track. It was so exciting and fun! Estonian rider did really well and I also saw a Japanese team racing as well! I saw a crowd of British people, Estonians (of course!) and a couple other countries. Unfortunately I did not see any Japanese people or flag there. So here is my mission. I will come back to Japanese flag next year! Represent!

Vivian invited, Steffi, Tina and me to Pittsburgh (Her parents live in Irwin, PA). We spent a day for sightseeing and Vivian's dad made delicious meals for us. It was a fun, stomach-filling, relaxing weekend. Thanks, Vivian!

I travelled to Brazil with Carla from March 29-April 5, 2007. This turned out one of the best trips I have ever done. I enjoyed the beach every day. I ate delicious food. The scenery was breathtaking. People are so warm. I really needed a break from my work and it turned out a break in pradise. Thanks to Carla and her family, my body and mind were able to relax and recooperate.
Carla and I have taken so many pictures. I have selected about 20 of them here. Enjoy. And I really, really recommend all of you to visit Brazil.

I went to three parties on 10/28. First to Ahmad's party, then to Vivian's house party and DABU party. It was good to see all my friends. And thanks to day light saving, I still got to sleep enough afterwards... If you wonder what I was, I was a modern witch!

So Al was in town and we decided to "hike" in Harper's Ferry. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! And Ku Klux Klan meeting was held on this day in Harper's Ferry. A lot of police, helicopter flying, etc... it was exciting. But we didn't get to see the actual meeting.

So I got layed off on Friday. And I became a full-time job searcher. It's so tough. I have to drive around for interviews and cell phone ear piece constantly sticking into my ear (my right ear is kinda hurting now). I hope this will end soon...
I thought I would be bored everyday sitting on the couch, but I ended up having the busiest week of my life this week. It was a real shocker when I found out that I am getting layed off...like if I cannot find a job soon, i will be deported. But job search is going OK so far... it's going....
